Type: piston
Range: ~35'
Reservoir volume: none
Length: about 2' contracted.

The Water Warriors Glow blaster is Buzz Bee Toys' version of the Stream Machine. It is, basically, a big tube with a nozzle and a pump, that you stick in a bucket of water, and extend the pump, pulling water into the tube, and than just point, shoot by contracting the pump, and refill.

I liked the shape of the Glow Blaster. There aren't any unneccesary bumps or ridges, so I duct taped all of the yellow tube part. The handle is also comfortable to hold, and fits into your shoulder, if you fire it with two hands. It is also a good, cheap($4.99) base defense weapon.

I didn't like that the light doesn't really work that well. It's mostly a gimmick so they can give it a non-bug name. the batteries(that came with it) on mine fried out. Electronics and water don't mix. A range over 35 feet is hard to get, unless you are muscly.

Overall, if you need a base defense weapon, this one is pretty good. The nozzle is a decent size, and the overall shape of the blaster is pretty cool.

Overall, 7/10

Range/Max: 11 m [36.2 ft]
Range/Lvl: 6 m [19.6 ft]
Output: 63.9 mL/sec [2.1 fl oz/sec]

OPERATION:
Requires separate reservoir. When choosing a reservoir, allowance must be made for diameter and length of barrel. I used the Realiance "Aqua-Tainer" [model 9410]. Depth of this unit [to filler cap] is 39 cm [15.5 in]. Filler cap diameter is 6.35 cm [2.5 in]. Piston light requires two [2] AA batteries [alkaline recommended]. Batteries can be replaced my removing cover on starboard side of pistol grip [precision Philips screw-driver required].

COMMENTS:
Pistol grip fits confortably in adult hand. Piston light serves no useful function. In addition, I cannot discover any means for replacing a burnt out lamp. Performance equal to typical air series blaster. Combined with CPS weaponry, would be suitable for base defense. Need for separate reservoir makes it unsuitable for offensive use. "Stream Machine" water cannons will probably out perform this unit.
