The X-Stream Aqua Rebel is the smallest air-pressure based soaker in the X-Stream line. Its small size makes it easy to carry and conceal, but also means its output and drench power are also similarly reduced in size. The construction of the soaker is decent with a solid, albeit plastic feel.

:: Nozzle

The Aqua Rebel has one, small nozzle that, thankfully, produces a decent stream despite its small size. Understandably, a large nozzle on a small soaker would not work well since the reservoir just does not support the capacity required to feed a larger nozzle.

:: Pressurized Reservoir

The pressure chamber/reservoir holds a respectable amount of water given the overall small size of the blaster. While not as space efficient as small soakers like the Super Soaker XP 215, the Aqua Rebel does hold a decent amount of water. Pressurizing the reservoir is not too difficult and the amount of pressurized water available allows for a good amount of shot time from the nozzle. The intake for the nozzle is actually near to the back side of the reservoir, meaning that one needs to aim slightly upwards to get the most of one's water supply, a rather nice feature.

:: Pump

The Aqua Rebel's pump's location is different than most soakers, being rear-side mounted. The pump unit is actually attached to the reservoir cap and has a fairly substantial piston casing that is inserted into the reservoir. However, the pump shaft length is not very long, thus many pumps are needed to build enough pressure to make firing possible. Also, since the pump is located on the back, it is not easy to pump and shoot simultaneously. Instead, one usually finds oneself pointing downwards and pumping up before resuming aiming and firing.

:: Overall

All in all , the X-Stream Aqua Rebel is a decent small-sized soaker. While having decent power and capacity for its size, the trigger grip area is rather small for larger hands and the rear-mounted pump is not as comfortable as forward mounted ones. Good for surprise soaker attacks or small water fights, the Aqua Rebel is a respectable soaker. One should just be wary if facing anything larger than an Super Soaker XP 240.

Pros

Easy to pump, pressurize, and blast away. Small size makes this soaker easy to conceal and/or carry.

Cons

Rear-mounted pump not as friendly when attempting to pump and shoot. Pump volume small, thus requiring seemingly more pumps than usual to pressurize the reservoir. Low output and reservoir volume.
