- Ratings based on relative blaster size. Please see the Statistics page for more details on the specific terms used.
- Statistics measured are from products and water blasters tested here at iSoaker.com; individual water blaster performance may vary.
- Some water blsater models exhibit more variability in terms of performance (i.e. output, range, and power) across a larger number of soakers tested.

The X-Stream Pumpmaster 460 is the Blastmaster 660's smaller brother. With a smaller reservoir and pump stroke, the X-Stream Pumpmaster 460 still performs well. However, being piston-based, one cannot produce a continuous stream. (Sidenote: this soaker was tested without removing the backing.)
:: Nozzle
The Pumpmaster 460's nozzle is small, but adequate. Streams produced have good consistency. A larger nozzle would not be recommendable since the pump volume is low.
:: Non-Pressurized Reservoir
Being piston-based, the reservoir is not pressurized. Intake for the pump is near to the rear of the reservoir, meaning one needs to tilt the blaster upwards when the tank is getting lower. The reservoir's capacity is respectable for a blaster of this size.
:: Pump
The pump is guided, but short, along the base of the soaker. One minor complaint is the shape of the pump grip. Large hands will tend to hold a little bit over the grip-region, meaning that upon pump extension, some skin may end up lightly pinched between the pump grip and the body of the soaker. Otherwise, pumping is smooth and consistent.
:: Overall
The X-Stream Pumpmaster 460 would make a decent back-up blaster or good primary blaster in a smaller water fight. The reservoir capacity is not that large, but since only a small amount of water is used per shot, the reservoir provides enough water for a good amount of shots before a refill is required.
Pros
Easy to pump and blast.
Cons
Piston-based system means no continuous streams. Pump volume is relatively low.
