The following listing outlines non-team based games.

The Duel

Number of People: Two
Duration: Any length of time available. Can be made short or long depending on interest.
Area Required: Any location which can afford to get wet
Special Equipment Required: None

Overview:
A simple elimination or purely recreational game that only requires two players. Rules for this type of game are very flexible, but typically consist of having no-physical contact between players and focusing on drenching one's opponent. Specific rules regarding whether refills are allowed, type of blasters to use, etc. are easily agreed upon between both players.

Optional:
To have a more objective way to determine who has won a duel, some form of target that indicates a successful soak should be worn by each player (i.e. SoakerTags). A duel between players would then continue until one was eliminated or both players ran out of water which would result in a draw for that duel. As these duels would be relatively brief, multiple duels could be held and the winner declared in a 'Best of Five', 'Best of Seven', etc. method.
