Soaker Golf
Number of People: Any
Duration: Any length of time available.
Area Required: Any location which can afford to get wet. However, can be made more interesting if done in an area with a lot of trees, shrubs, water hazards, etc.
Special Equipment Required: Styrofoam (or light plastic) cups and some larger buckets.
Overview:
The concept is simple: launch the styrofoam cup and have it land in the bucket using as few squirts as possible. Basically, the players would have a starting position from which they play the styrofoam cup over the nozzle of their blaster, pump, aim, and launch the cup towards the bucket (the goal). Different-sized soakers can be used to give more or less range/control depending on one's arsenal (sort of like having a set of clubs). Where the styrofoam cup lands is there the player can then shoot from again (the player must have at least one foot on the spot where their cup landed). The size of the course can vary depending on how big an area and how many buckets one has to use. The winner is the one who needs to use the least number of shots from the various starting positions to get his/her styrofoam cup into the buckets. Players alternate on who is aiming for the goal... thus, two or more styrofoam cups may end up on the playing field at the same time.
