The original iSoaker.com Rogue Group was established back in May, 2001 during a time of experimentation in the Soakerdom community infrastructure. The Rogue group was closed (technically put into stasis) in late 2002 due to other community-related reasons. However, the Rogue Group development is something I miss and I feel the time is right to re-launch the Rogue Group project.
In general, Rogue Group members are advocates of water warfare and soaker usage. Rogue Members are expected to be positive role models for soaking in the communities and be willing to help newer members when they have time. Rogue Members will also be involved in various inner projects here at iSoaker.com, assisting with new content creation and site development. Topics that are discussed on the Rogue Group forums are meant for Rogue Members only. Anyone proving themselves unworthy of the trust bestowed upon gaining membership will quickly lose their Rogue Membership. Depending on the severity of the trust breach, offenders may also lose their iSoaker.com Forum Membership as well. Individual Rogue Membership may also be terminated if a particular member does not appear to work well with the rest of the Rogue Group.
One key aspect of being a Rogue Member is one's increased insight and influence on the direction of iSoaker.com content development. Rogue Members will be privy to information on developments at iSoaker.com long before they are announced publicly or made available to the rest online.
While Rogue Group members may be involved in their own local groups or water warfare teams, one other requirement upon becoming a Rogue Group member is the willingness to put aside team designations in special cases, opting instead to carry the Soakerdom banner, presenting a unified water warfare presence to oppose those against water warfare. Rogue Group members stand united for the promotion and enjoyment of safe, fun water warfare for people of all ages.
