As I work towards completing all the reviews of the new blasters in the 2013 Water Warriors brand line, I’ve gotten around to also updating the Water Warriors Evolution trees with pictures.
Working to get all the 2013 Water Warriors water blasters reviews up, now posted is the review on the latest motorized water blaster from Buzz Bee Toys Inc., the Water Warriors Hydro Current. Being motorized, this one uses 4 AA batteries as opposed to the smaller Water Warriors Jet that needed only 3 AA batteries. Sporting a good-sized reservoir and a pump that pushes a decent amount of water out (more than the motorized water blasters in the Nerf Super Soaker line), the only thing that remains to be tested is range.

The Water Warriors Python 2 is an updated version of the original Water Warriors Python. With new styling, better ergonomics, and even better capacity, this blaster is a great improvement on an already solid blaster design.

Along with the Nerf Super Soaker Switch Shot review, the Nerf Super Soaker Shotwave review is now mostly complete (apart from range testing). The Nerf Super Soaker Shotwave is the smallest of the new pump-action water blasters for the 2013 Nerf Super Soaker line. Like the other 2013 pump-action Nerf Super Soakers, though, the Nerf Super Soaker Shotwave lacks oomph and even suffers from pump lag due to the positioning of the reservoir quite a distance from the pump.

It took a little longer than usual, but finally got around to finishing up the review for the Nerf Super Soaker Switch Shot. Unfortunately, like the other pump-action water blasters in the 2013 Nerf Super Soaker line, this one lacks the oomph of older model Super Soakers and even has shortcomings as a pump-action blaster.

Over the past 3 years, there’s been a downward trend in power for even the pistol-sized Nerf Super Soaker water blasters. If this trend continues, the pistol-sized water blasters won’t need nozzles in a few more years.

Recently acquired a Nerf Super Soaker Shotwave. This completes all the new water blasters in the 2013 Nerf Super Soaker line. While a testing and a full review need to be completed, pictures of the Nerf Super Soaker Shotwave are now posted.

Got around to taking some pictures and measuring some statistics on the Nerf Super Soaker Switch Shot. For those who don’t know, the Switch Shot is basically a pump-action water blaster that features a nozzle selector with 4 settings and a larger, “banana-style” magazine reservoir. Unfortunately, like the Nerf Super Soaker Arctic Shock, the Switch Shot also has some pump lag. Full review to come, but will be slightly delayed due to some other things under development.
