A little late in the year, but finally got around (more like remembered) to updating the Super Soaker History page and the Water Warriors Line History page. Regular visitors to iSoaker.com will already be well aware of the newest additions to both lines, but keeping the overall summary pages up-to-date is always a good thing.
This is a continued deeper look into some of the statistics I’ve measured over the years on various stock water blasters (Jump to: the first part or the second part). This particular article will look a little more at water blaster weights. As noted in other articles, all stats are pulled from the iSoaker.com database which is queried by using the iSoaker.com Product Listing. Continue reading

Hope everyone has a happy Halloween!
Sidenote: For those dealing with the damage in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, hope all the people important to you are safe and best wishes rebuilding and making things even better than before!

The iSoaker.com water blaster / water gun database has over 300 unique records on various water blasters and water warfare equipment. Most of those have been tested, at least to some extent, here over the past 14 years (wow, it’s been awhile)!
With this decent-size sample, I decided to look a little deeper at the various statistics measured over the years to see if there are any notable trends or correlations between various water blaster attributes and their measured performance. I also wanted to know if the numbers would show if there are simpler ways in which water blasters could be grouped together in order for more meaningful comparisons to be done. Continue reading
Seems like the folks over at Urban Taggers have found info on a number of upcoming Nerf Super Soaker Products.
Apparently, Nerf Super Soaker will be introducing more items to complement and expand their clip/magazine-using water blaster line. Continue reading
Preamble: Though perhaps a little late in the year, I’ve been meaning to write up this article for some time now. Next year (2013), I’ll work on pushing up this sort of summary article sooner. That said, while it is “off-season” for the Northern Hemisphere, it’s the start of “on-season” for the Southern Hemisphere and this info may still prove timely for some.
The Newest Stock Blasters in 2012
There were a decent number of new stock water blasters released in 2012. While there are undoubtedly some smaller brands that I’ve missed, the two major brands, Nerf Super Soaker and Water Warriors, are covered fully in this article. Continue reading
Visited New York city (Manhattan) over the weekend. Didn’t have too much time there so wasn’t able to visit all the major landmarks in the city, but still had fun taking some pics at some well-known city spots. Follow the link to see pics from the trip.
