The Water Warriors Black Widow is the second smallest blaster of the Water Warriors line in 2004. Its design is similar to a Super Soaker Max-D 3000. However, unlike the smaller Max-D Super Soakers, the Water Warriors Black Widow has a guided pump and a pressure gauge.
The reservoir is opaque, making it difficult to determine how much water it has remaining. The reservoir is filled through an opening with an externally tethered cap. However, as this blaster requires that the reservoir be pressurized in order to push water out the nozzle, the cap must be secured tightly for the blaster to work well.
Maximum pressure is determined by the colour-changing pressure gauge at the side of the blaster. This gauge window shows all-green when maximum pressure is achieved. This works well except for the fact that the window region is quite small and not easily read from a distance. One minor complaint is that the size of the trigger-grip area is quite short, making it awkward to hold for those with larger hands.
The stream produced by the Black Widow is decent for a soaker of its size. Admittedly, it is a smaller soaker, thus has limited soaker power.
Overall, the Water Warriors Black Widow is a good lower-class water blaster. Great for backup or as a primary blaster in smaller skirmishes, this blaster can hold its own again other soakers of similar sizes. Just beware of soakers using constant stream-type technology.
Pros
Small, easy to pump and use, and has a good sized reservoir. Stream quite good and pressure gauge helps one determine how well the shot will fly.
Cons
No separate firing chamber. Pressure gauge can be hard to read when using. Trigger-grip region rather short.

Review: The Black Widow is a light weight blaster that cannot produce a very long or far stream, but I opened mine up and took out a pointless valve on the end of the pump tube and when it was back together I used it and found the range and shot time was highly increased!
