The Water Warriors Warlock is a piston-based water blaster released by Buzz Bee Toys Inc. in 2011; it is a similar size to the Water Warriors Shark.

The Blaster ::

Nozzle ::

The Warlock features a single, standard-sized nozzle. Its nozzle is approximately the same dimensions as that of the Water Warriors Shark and Water Warriors Gremlin. Being a piston-based water blaster, it produces a similarly smooth stream. That said, the Warlock seems to perform almost identically to the Water Warriors Shark in terms of stream power and feel.

Pump ::

The pump on the Warlock is located just below the nozzle region. Unlike the Water Warriors Shark, the Warlock's pump is fully tracked and feels nice and sturdy. Pumping the Warlock remains smooth and the pump seems to work well. Its pump volume is the same as the Water Warriors Shark and provides acceptable performance for a piston-based blaster of this size.

Trigger / Grip ::

The false trigger and grip area of the Warlock is open and comfortable to hold. The trigger, itself, is purely ornamental, but does add to the comfort and feel when holding the blaster.While the grip, itself, has no significant texturing, its shape and the blaster's overall small size makes it easy to hold.

The Reservoir ::

The Warlock holds a decent amount of water for a blaster its size, though a little less than the Water Warriors Shark. As with the Water Warriors Shark, the Warlock's thin profile suggests that it could have had a larger reservoir were it made wider. However, considering the Warlock is virtually a reservoir with a pump, nozzle, and grip attached to it, the Warlock does make good use of the space it occupies. As with many of the other piston-based blasters in the Water Warriors line, the Warlock's reservoir is filled through a small opening that is sealed using a tethered snap-cap. This cap is decent at preventing water from splashing out when moving, but its seal may not be perfect, thus may leak out water if the blaster is left on its side for prolonged periods of time.

Overall ::

As a whole, the Water Warriors Warlock is a decent piston-based water blaster and seems to be akin to a slightly smaller version of the Water Warriors Shark. As such, it offers similar stream performance though its capacity is a little less than the Water Warriors Shark. That said, being a relatively small piston-based blaster, the Warlock is no match for any true continuous stream or larger-stream piston-based water blasters. Good for scouting, small water fights, backup, or perhaps as a last-stand blaster, the Water Warriors Warlock can provide a good soak for its size and price.

Pros

Simple styling, clean lines, and good solid feel to the soaker. Good capacity and decent output for a blaster its size.

Cons

Limited output compared to small air-pressure-based blasters. No strap or holster. Requires two hands to use; cannot be dual-wielded. Snap-cap on reservoir not always completely water tight.
