The Nerf Super Soaker Twister is a water blaster model released by Hasbro Inc. in 2022. Unlike water blasters that feature spiraling streams such as the Super Soaker Helix or Water Warriors Cross Fire whose nozzles rotate due to a gear-based mechanism, the Nerf Super Soaker Twister's nozzle rotate based on the force of the water exiting the nozzles. As such, rotation rate highly depends on the total force applied when pumping.

Brief Review:

The Nerf Super Soaker Twister (also not to be confused with the Super Soaker Twister sprinkler play mat), is a pump-action water blaster that features dual nozzles that rotate when the blaster shoots. However, as noted above, the mechanism that causes the streams to spiral is completely embedded in the nozzle.

While this undoubtedly simplifies the mechanism, it also means that the rate at which these streams spiral depends on how forcefully one pumps. If one applies inadequate force, the streams will turn slowly or even not at all. As the outward angle between the streams is fixed, one's ability to control the direction one is blaster is severely limited.

Best used for providing area cover, the Nerf Super Soaker Twister may entertain some users based on the novelty of the spinning streams, but its utility in water fights is limited both by general range and control offered by its mechanism.

For now, additional testing on this water blaster model is not planned. Good for small, casual soakfests, the Nerf Super Soaker Twister may be fun for the casual water warrior, but is readily outclassed by most other pump action and pressurized water blasters available.
