The Nerf Super Soaker Hydro Balls are Hasbro's newest version of a re-usable water balloon-type device. Released in 2023, these devices are reminiscent of the 2001 Storm Tsunami Balls devices. Unlike the single-piece design of the Tsunami Ball, the Nerf Super Soaker Hydro Balls are comprised of two mostly identical soft rubber-like plastic halves that fit into one another to yield a closed ball when assembled. More info to come soon.

Pros

Non-"gun"; simple to fill (via pool or bucket); easily thrown

Cons

Potentially forceful impact; halves do not necessarily separate on contact depending on force and angle of impact; cannot be easily filled from a faucet or hose (optimally filled by submerging in a pool or bucket)
