The Super Soaker XP 250 was one the earlier generation XPs released. In its time, it was one of the largest Super Soakers available on the market and one to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, a working Super Soaker XP 250 is unavailable for review. Thus, little is known about its performance, durability, etc.

Super Soaker XP 250 Review By: -g-jiv- | Posted: 20110107

The Super Soaker XP 250 is a very powerful Air-Pressure based Super Soaker. Its firing Chamber holds a good ammount of water. Therefore shoot times are quite long. The Pump is tracked, so you do not have to worry about breaking and strong built. Roughly 70 ml are pressed into the Pressure Chamber each stroke. Just About 12 Strokes filles the Pressure Chamber completely. Furthermore it got 4 useful nozzles:

  • Saturator
  • 1 X::
  • 3 X::
  • fan

The gun seems to not have a Pressure valve at all. More and more power is required till you know it is full. The Reservoir is also quite big for middle sized water blaster and you can refill about 3,5 times before you need to refill.

The gun is very strong, with good range and lots of soakness. Although it only has a 3 X:: stream as its biggest nozzle, you can soak your opponent quite fast because of big pressure. It does also have a carry strap, which makes it easier to use as primary weapon or as very powerful sidearm.

There is not much to say against the Super Soaker XP 250: As with all air pressure based guns, their stream's range and output is not constant and droppes off in seconds. The most water goes out during the first view seconds. As it was released 1994 it is now(2011) 17 years old and therefore it is quite fragile to breaks. The trigger mechanism is the same as used in the SS 300, but seems to be built more stable. It never broke yet. The whole plastic is rather fragile and it might split up if it is dropped at a hard bottom.

Be careful when using this Soaker and you will be able to defeat lots of other Soaker-users. Due to its big pump-volume, you might also win against some CPS users :)

Reservoir volume: 2675ml
Firing Chamber: 815ml(without the compressed air, just the water in it)
Pump volume: 70ml
