The Super Soaker XP 105
was a good medium assault rifle for its time. Looking like a smaller version of the Super Soaker XP 150 in design, it holds a respectable amount
of water, has two pressure chambers as well as a pressure gauge so one can determine
how much pumping is needed. Its pump volume is considerably larger than most
current blasters and charges with only a few pumps. Pumping is quick and easy,
giving this XP-class weapon a good punch. However, its half-twist on reservoir
is a little annoying to attach and tends to be tricky to completely empty when
the water level gets low. Overall, its size and balance are nice, allowing one
to hold one's ground even against the lower CPS-based weapons.
Great even as a primary weapon, the Super Soaker XP 105 is good for small to medium skirmishes
and can hold awhile in large ones. Just beware of water blasters like the Super Soaker SC Power Pak and any CPS-class
weapon. It is, however, not recommended if opposing larger blasters with nozzles
rated at 10x or higher.
Pros
Nice size, light, easy to carry. Despite its size, it packs decent power. It
also does not take too much effort to pump up the pressure chamber. The tank
provides a respectable amount of water considering its rate of fire. The pressure
gauge is also good for figuring out how much more pumping needs to be done.
Cons
This is a rather small weapon compared to the others out there. The XP-class
nozzle is outclassed by all of the CPS-line of weapons. The half-twist on reservoir
can wear down at the threads and makes refilling the blaster more cumbersome
than the newer cap-based reservoirs.

Review: The XP 105 has a good size for scouting and kamikaze men. light and powerful enough to take down enemies at close range. Not the type of far range guns. This gun is more like the charging type of gun. I recommend it to anyone who has the courage to run to people in the face and shoot them. I love it. Sadly, my XP 105 pump handle broke when I was playing with my friends one day and I could not fix it. By that time, they were not in stores anymore. It will be remembered as one of my most favourite guns, also one of my first guns.

The XP 105 was released
in 1996, the second generation of XP's. This blaster has a nice size and weight,
but is fairly hard to pump if you are young or aren't strong enough. The power
of the blaster is very high for an XP which often gives a sting to the receiver
of the blast. Another popular method of soaking the enemy with this blaster
is to remove the nozzle and fire which releases all of the water in the reservoir
in a big BANG. The end result is heavy soakage. The pressure gauge is a nice
feature though it may move around to a different starting point. You can also
place balloons (make sure they are layered together) in the pressure reservoirs
to make it like a CPS as the balloons act like the rubber bag in all CPS blasters.
This gives it a definite pressure boost. The main use of the XP 105 is light-medium
skirmishes. It also makes a good secondary weapon. Watch out for larger blasters
as they will be a problem for this weapon (especially CPS' and Monsters).
PROS: Very
high power for a water blaster it's size, nice water payload, excellent size
to weight ratio, riotblast (woo hoo!).
CONS: Pumping could be easier, pressure gauge is off occasionally.

My good old XP 105 is a
good soaker in my opinion. I've had it for close to four years and its never
broken before. It still works today. This water blaster has a good reservoir
although now the XP 310 has approximately 25% more water. The only problem with
the reservoir is the difficulty one has in removing it and re-attaching it.
The reservoir is however a good size and fits into most house-hold kitchen sinks.
Good range and firepower makes a great ally although the CPSs outclass it now.
It takes very few pumps to fully charge but it is difficult to pump and has
a pressure gauge to tell how much you have. Although when the pressure gauge
got to the red area, it would suddenly jump to maximum at the next pump so it
wasn't that accurate. It's a light-weight water blaster even fully loaded.Two
pressure tanks make it good even by today's standards.
Pros: Comes
equipped with two pressure tanks and only requires about five or so pumps to
fully charge. Pressure gauge available to tell how much its pumped. Lightweight
blaster even when its fully loaded. Fair amount of water storage and has good
power and range.
Cons: Hard to pump and the reservoir is difficult to reattach.
This can be bad when your in the heat of battle and you need to refill your
blaster. And unfortunately, you won't find the XP 105 in many stores(if any).
So it would be hard to get now. Afterall it came out in 1996.

I would not recommend this water blaster to anyone. Here is why: The bottle
is a weird shape so that makes it hard to reload. It shoots fairly far, but
I find the stream quite puny. The handle leaks badly. This problem happens with
almost all XP 105s I have heard of so far. The blaster is a little large and
can get annoying when in long battles because of its weight (depending on how
full it is with water) and the fact that the handle leaks pretty badly. It also
squeaks when you pump it. I am not meaning to be a downer, but I do consider
the XP 105 UNRELIABLE. I would not recommend buying this blaster.
