The Super Soaker XP 240 is approximately
1.5x larger than the Super Soaker XP 220. Its reservoir appears to hold as much water as its
cousin, the Super Soaker XP 40. The water intake is also similar to the Super Soaker XP 40s design while
the trigger is similar to that found on the Super Soaker XP 220. Like its predacessor, the
pump shaft length of the XP 240 is short. Due to the handle/trigger's design,
the XP 240 may feel slightly awkward for those with larger hands. The entire
blue part of the handle is the trigger, not just the part the index finger rests
on. As such, one needs to squeeze the handle to fire.
Overall, the Super Soaker XP 240 would make a great sidearm/back-up but definitely lacks the
power for use as one's main weapon unless, of course, one is in a small water
fight (i.e. indoors)
Pros
Small, light, easy to carry and conceal.
Cons
Being a small water blaster, its capacity and water output are rather limited.
Its front-heavy design makes one want to use both hands at times to aim which
is a limiting factor especially if one wants to have a hand free for blocking
shots or lobbing water balloons. Due to the shape of the handle, it may feel
awkward if one has larger hands. Its water intake has not been improved over
the Super Soaker XP 40, thus leaving some water wasted.
