The Super Soaker Max-D 2000 is the smallest of the Max-D Series released in 2002. This soaker is similar is styling to the Super Soaker XP 220, but features an open trigger grip area, non-transparent reservoir and, of course, Max-D technology. For a light side-arm class blaster, the Max-D has respectable output. The stream produced by its relatively small nozzle is surprising. Measured output is over double that of the Super Soaker XP 220! The trigger, as in all Max-D blasters, clicks when pulled to unleash the full force of the stream and snaps the nozzle closed when released. It also only takes a small number of pumps to pressurize the reservoir.

The construction of the Max-D 2000 seems fairly solid. One thing to note is that upon harder pumping, there is some bending of the blaster between the pump area and the trigger grip area. The bright yellow colouring of the body makes this soaker hard to conceal, but its small size means it can be easily tucked into a large coat pocket.

The main drawbacks to the Super Soaker Max-D 2000 is its limited amount of water it can carry and the fact that the reservoir was made opaque. This means one will need to rely on the "feel" of the blaster or on mist-shots to determine when the Super Soaker Max-D 2000 needs refilling. Otherwise, the Max-D 2000 would make an excellent side-arm. Just don't expect to be able to take on any CPS-class blasters armed only with this soaker.

Pros

Good power-to-size ratio, small, light, and easy to use.

Cons

Limited water supply (due to size), pressurized reservoir system, and opaque reservoir.

Review:As you can see I couldn't get many numbers because 1)I have no scale to measure with. 2) I'm not sure of the output, because I can't shoot in my house(It's the middle of the night).By the way, I went by the box for level range, which means it may not be accurate. However, prior to this writing I stayed out with a friend and soaked him so bad, I thought he peed himself, because of the smell. This is a good sidearm to have, the peeing story is enough to describe the output. I found it at my local Target. Please note that the box said, and I repeat, it said, "Only at Target". So please, if I'm wrong, DO NOT send me an e-mail regarding this. It was $5(US), so it's well-priced.

And it came in two colors I saw, a blue and orange, and a green, blue, and orange.Thank you for listening to my humble opinion.
