The Super Soaker Oozinator is the Super Soaker 2006 equivalent of the base stock soaker model. Its name is derived from the fact that the Oozinator can be loaded with Bio-Ooze™, a greenish slimy substance that be be fired from the Oozinator's second, lower-mounted nozzle. The Bio-Ooze™ canister comes sealed with thin foil (refill packs sold separately) that is punctured by intake nozles within the Bio-Ooze™ holder on the blaster.

Nozzles ::
The Oozinator has two nozzles:one for water and the other for firing out Bio-Ooze™. The water nozzle is the upper one and is fed directly from the Oozinator's pressurized reservoir. Though lacking a separate firing chamber, the Oozinator's water stream is fairly decent, similar in feel to that of a Super Soaker Liquidator. The nozzle's intake tubing lies slightly higher, towards the rear of the main reservoir. Thus, as water gets lower, one needs to tilt the blaster upwards to avoid mist shots and make use of the remainder of the reservoir's contents.
The second nozzle has a slightly larger diameter than the first and is powered by the pump-action Power-soaker-type lower pump. Distance achieve by the Bio-Ooze™ stream depends on how forceful the pump is pulled. Bio-Ooze™ expelled from the nozzle fragments shortly after release, resulting in a very spattered effect; the majority of the Bio-Ooze™ does not achieve full distance.
Pumps ::
The pump for the Oozinator's water reservoir is standard, getting the job done. Pumping is relatively smooth, though the square shape of the pump shaft prevents rotation of one's hand when pumping. Oddly, the pump (at least on the model tested) could not be pulled until it lays flush with the body of the soaker. The Oozinator also has a second pump for firing out of the lower nozzle. This lower pump is guided and actually features a dual-pump mechanism; basically there appears to be two pump shafts within the lower, tracked pump's housing. This pump draws in Bio-Ooze™ (or, potentially water) from the internal, replaceable canister, then combines the output from the dual-pump-shafts into the single nozzle opening. Interestingly, the Super Soaker Oozinator must be leaned towards the back for the Bio-Ooze™ pump do draw more Bio-Ooze™ into its internals. Leaning the blaster forwards when the Bio-Ooze™ canister is half-full results in only air being drawn into the pump.
Triggers / Grip ::
The trigger and grip area are fairly comfortable to hold. However, due to its design, some with particularly large hands may find the overall space too limiting. The trigger has a solid, firm Max-D-based feel to it. It does, however, feel sturdier than older generation Max-D trigger systems. However, more use will confirm how well these triggers stand up over time.
The Reservoir ::
The reservoir on the Oozinator holds a respectable amount of water. The back of the reservoir lies in a higher plan than the nozzle with the intake tube within aimed upwards as well. This means that when the blaster is held level, the upper portion of the tank drains first, thus exposing the nozzle intake tube to air when the reservoir is still around half full. To avoid misting, one needs to aim the blaster upwards to ensure the intake tube remains submerged. Being a pressurized reservoir, the Oozinator must be properly depressurized before opening the cap; as well, the cap must be securely fastened in order for the upper nozzle to work.
The Bio-Ooze™ canister holds somewhere between 15 to 20 full shots. Sadly, this resevoir is not easily refilled with water once emptied. After some experimenting, the canister was refilled with water with the help of a 16 gauge needle and a 30mL syringe. The canister holds roughly 250mL of water. Each side of the canister is separate. Streams of water pushed through the Bio-Ooze™ nozzle are not very laminar, either, and feel slightly lacking in power compared to typical Power Soaker streams.
It should be noted that the Bio-Ooze™ stuff is NOT very water soluble. The material feels slimy and appears to coagulate upon exposure to air or water. Some testing was done in a bathtub only to find out that the Bio-Ooze restricted drain flow as it built up. When the Bio-Ooze™ dries, it can be easily peeled or brushed off.
Overall ::
The Super Soaker Oozinator is a peculiar addition to the Super Soaker line. The water blaster aspect of this soaker performs well, but the usefulness and value of squirting Bio-Ooze™ is likely limited. The fact that the Bio-Ooze™ canister cannot be easily refilled with water limits use of this blaster to those willing to spend more on Bio-Ooze™ refills. While the Oozinator can likely hold its ground against smaller soakers, its only real intimidating feature is its Bio-Ooze™ nozzle.

Funky styling and well-made ruggedness of the soaker. Easy pumping; solid water stream. Power-soaker-type second nozzle potentially allows to dual-action soaking.
Cons
Pressurized reservoid; small stream to larger soakers. Air pump is on the shorter side. No strap. Bio-Ooze(tm) refills limited in quantity. Bio-Ooze not noticably water soluble. Cannot easily refill the Bio-Ooze canister with water, limiting its re-usability once the Bio-Ooze runs out.
