Spyra GO: released in 2024. Dimensions: 58 (length) X 20 (height) X 7 (width) cm. Weight empty: 0.90 kg (2.0 lbs). Weight full of water:1.35 kg (3.0 lbs). Official water capacity: 450 ml.
Review:
Introduction: The spyra go is the smallest and lightest Spyra blaster made yet, ideal for small skirmishes or a great secondary weapon. Its design is very similar to its bigger brothers (Spyra one, two, three, four, and who knows many else to come), making it very comfortable even after prolonged use.
It is a medium sized electric water blaster, rechargeable via USB type C, and the company states that a full battery will last 9000 shots before needing to recharge it. I can’t say if that’s precise, but i can say that the battery does last a long time. To turn on the blaster you simply need to pull the fire trigger and then you will see an LED turn on that indicates that you are ready to fire.
The main difference with its bigger brothers, is that, instead of having to dip the front of the blaster in a container filled with water and wait for it to suck it in, the reservoir is filled up by opening a tank slider and pouring water inside. Of course, being a smaller and much cheaper version, it has no where near the power of its bigger brothers.
Usage: The blaster features a spring based mechanism that pushes out small bullets of water out of the, what i believe to be, around 1.5X nozzle. This means it is very convenient to use, since, after you fill it up, you just need to pull the trigger. You can either pull the trigger once to shoot a single bullet of water, or you can hold the trigger and the blaster will shoot continuously at a consistent fire rate of 4 shots per second.
However, there is to note that 2 versions of this blaster exist; the first of which shoots at much slower fire rates (around half the speed of the new version) and the single shots look more ike very short streams of water, shooting around 6 ml per shot instead of the 4 of the new version. The old version also has a problem, which is the fact that there is about a 0.5 second delay between when you pull the trigger and the shot actually coming out, while the new one solve this issue, making it easier to hit enemies. If you buy it now, unless you get it from a retailer, you will get the new version.
A problem that is common to both versions is its durability, as it has a plastic gear in the spring mechanism that tends to break, and when that happens, the blaster is completely useless, as it does not shoot water anymore. The only way to fix this is to reprint this gear with a 3d printer, and you can already find the plans for this specific gear online.
One last factor to keep in consideration is that after many years in the future, the internal battery may drain faster and eventually die out, so unless you find a way to change the battery, this probably won’t last for decades like old school mechanical water guns.
Here is a summary or its pros and cons:
Pros:
1) Cool modern design.
2) Nice and lightweight with a very good grip, and an easy and fast refill.
3) Pretty good range considering its size, and takes no effort at all to fire.
Cons:
1) Will require to be occasionally recharged, and to be able to access the USB-C port and charge it, you need to unscrew a small plastic lid with a screwdriver. I wish they could have put a rubber lid, openable by hand, just like on all other Spyra blasters.
2) Not amazing tank capacity, if you spam it, you will finish the water quite quickly (30 s).
3) Has the durability issue i described, and will probably not be able to last long term due to battery degradation.

- Effective range (the max range you will actually be able to get a decent hit on someone): 8.5-9.5 m
- Shots in one tank: 115-120 (75-80 if you have the old version)
- Fire rate: 4 shots per second (around 2 if you have the old version)
- Shooting time (non-stop): 30 s
- Shot output: 4 ml (around 6 ml if you have the old version)
- Output per second: 16 ml/s (around 12 if you have the old version)
Conclusions: the Spyra GO is quite a fun and effective water blaster that can be used in most situations. It can be an ok primary weapon, but i don’t particularly recommend it as its water output is not enough for medium to high end water fights, and you will be outclassed by all other Spyra blasters, most SC and all CPS super soakers, as well as by some bigger modern super soakers like the Soakzooka and the Hydra. Overall i like this blaster but i believe it is a little too expensive (50$) for the power it offers, i would wait for some offer and get it a bit cheaper (Around 40 and below). Still, if you can’t wait for it to go on sale, i by all means don’t think its a bad buy at full price (of course, this is valid for the the year of this revies, 2026, and if you read this many years later, the prices will be different and there may be newer versions).
