The Storm T-Shock 8000 is one of two Storm soakers that relied completely on a hose-based filling device (similar to the Super Soaker CPS Splashzooka 65oz). The T-Shock 8000 is the smaller brother of the larger T-Shock 16000. However, a working model is unavailable here at iSoaker.com.

Review by Wild Boys | Posted: 20060411

This morning I received a Storm T-Shock 8K water gun I got from eBay. It is not a very well heard of gun, but that doesn't mean to say its rubbish, this Storm gun impressed me.

This is a gun that is very similar to the CPS Splashzooka, it looks a fair bit like it as well in terms of design. The Quick Fill Device is quite interesting, its just a bit like a piece of pipe with an open/close valve, and it works very easily with the gun as it actually plugs in to the hose directly to the gun, so it fills very quickly and nicely.

When I got it to fire, it was pretty good, and shot for around 20 seconds with I'm guessing a 1~1.5x nozzle.

Also, something else interesting, when shaking the gun to empty the water out, I heard a rattling in the long orange piece that stores the water with the pressure, and it sounded like a chamber rattling and felt like one, so, I think this might actually be powered by a cylinderical CPS chamber, as the stream stayed constant till the last drop, this may sound obvious, but a bit ago on another forum there was someone wanting to know more about this gun and a lot of people assumed that it was just air pressure powered, I think not.

So, the first Storm that has impressed me is this one, unlike the others I got previously. What also looks good is that on the back of the box there is another T-Shock gun, but only bigger, its called the T-Shock 18K, and it looks great, so hopefully I can find that.
