Water War / Water Warfare Water Warfare Theme Songs .:

By: iSoaker.com (editor), multiple contributors

The following are some suggestions and/or recommendations for music that just seem to go well when engaged in a water fight and/or would make good background music during a water-fight video/movie.

This thought came back to mind after re-vitalizing the ubiquitous music thread as well as remembering that there is such a thing as a Super Soaker Music CD.

I have to say, and it may be a nostalgia burst, but I can't listen to 50 cent's "In Da Club" without thinking of the Aqua Nexus.

by Adrian:

Creed's Bullets. I get this stuck in my head at EVERY fight, even if the last time I listened to it was more than a year ago. Don't know why.

by C-A_99:

In terms of creating music, I play drums and my friends play guitar, we might be able to make something. (though it would probably be entirely instrumental)

As for what I have, Breaking Benjamin's Blow Me Away (which DX used in one of his videos) would do well. Most of my music is composed of metal and classic rock, most of which would work well in videos, but not as theme songs.

by Leviathan:

Da da da da da da da da BATMAN!

No seriously, everytime I pick up a soaker, I recite the chorus of Fort Minor's "Remember the Name" to myself. If you havent heard it, it goes:

"Cuz its ten percent luck, twenty percent skill, fifteen percent concentrated power of will, five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain, and a hundred percent reason to remember the name"

I heard one today at work, its by Slayer and its called "Jihad", I couldnt help thinking of some of the battles Ive had where I felt like I was on a Holy Crusade or something.

Just so you know, I'm Christian, not Muslim.

by forestfighter7:

I like Boom by P.O.D. It;s a good song and the only one remotely close to rap that I like. Blow Me Away would also be good.

Here's some more:
Land of Confusion-Disturbed
Attack-system of a Down
Stricken-Disturbed
Sons of Plunder-Disturbed
I'm Alive-Disturbed
Face the Slayer-Slayer
Like a Bomb-Nick Oliveri and the Mondo Generator
Carmina Burana(O Fortuna)
Deadly Sinners-3 Inches of Blood
Sailin' On-Bad Brains
Fury of the Storm-Dragonforce

Well, this is all I can think of now. Most of it is Metal with the acception of Sailin' On, Fury of the Storm and Carmina Burana.

It's funny because everytime I use a super soaker with a backpack, the old Ghostbusters theme song get stuck in my head! Otherwise I'll say the Matrix battle theme (the one from the first movie in the hall)

by Dacca:

I'll have to agree with forestfighter, cause in my head its either boom or click click boom by saliva.

by WaterWolf:

I'm not sure where I first heard it, but the song "In the End" by "Linkin Park" often comes to mind. Which is sort of strange, because I don't usualy like that brand of music, but I like this one and it seems like it would fit so well in a water-warfare movie.

Here is a Final Fantasy music video with "In the End".

by XP20Warrior:

A few of the songs you do mention do come to mind in a waterfight! I guess water Warriors think alike!

One that does stand out sometimes is Papa Roach - Getting Away with Murder. That may be my theme song.

by marauder_4:

I'm gonna have to go with Duxburian....feuer frei - Rammstein Can't possibly go wrong there, but dude ... Only One by Yellowcard? What does a break up song have to do with getting you pumped for waterguns?

by Gold Hawk:

Given Up or One Step Closer. Both by Linkin Park and are my two favorite songs.

by Aqua_Flash:

If was able to have a large battle and manage to video it, then the song that I would find perfect and very addictingly catchy to use in it would be this: Maximo Park - Our Velocity
